Naturalē is a collection of stories, communities, and natural traditions brought together under one name.
More than a brand, Naturalē is an invitation to live consciously — to choose products that are better for your body, support local communities, and respect the natural world.
Naturalē began in the Togean Islands of Central Sulawesi, home to many Sea Gypsy communities. Surrounded by rich botanicals, we began working with local women to produce coconut oil and handcrafted soap using ingredients sourced from island farmers.
Our first production facility was built around solar power and rainwater harvesting, helping us reduce our environmental impact while responding to the islands’ limited access to electricity and water. This made sustainability part of Naturalē from the very beginning.
As Naturalē grew, Bali became a bridge between the communities behind our products and a wider market. Through our production house, retail presence, and local partnerships, we expanded our reach while working with women in Bali and continuing to create value for the communities behind our products.
Our work with Bali’s hospitality industry also inspired us to transform waste such as coffee grounds, cooking oil, eggshells, and textiles into coasters, candles, soap, and other products. As a coconut based brand, we also transform coconut shells into premium jewelry with artisans from Nias Island, a collection especially popular with tourists in Bali. This is a part of our approach to creating a more circular local economy.
With our focus on island communities and tourism destinations, Raja Ampat became a natural next step for Naturalē. Inspired by its remote communities and extraordinary natural environment, we built a solar powered production facility and began working with women from surrounding communities.
Through partnerships with local resorts, we introduce natural, locally made alternatives for hospitality, including room amenities, bulk orders, and white label products. This allows us to grow alongside the local tourism industry while creating more opportunities within the communities around us.
Born in the Togean Islands, Naturalē is rooted in Indonesia's rich natural heritage. Surrounded by coconut, patchouli, seaweed, and coffee, we built a solar-powered production operation that includes our own VCO processing facility and product manufacturing workshop. Working alongside 15 women from four coastal villages, we create premium natural products that empower communities and inspire conscious living.
Read MoreOur Raja Ampat community operates on a similar model, producing natural body care essentials while creating meaningful economic opportunities for local residents. Through partnerships with eco-resorts, dive operators, and local businesses, these products are used and sold within the region, helping ensure that more tourism revenue remains in local communities.
In Bali, Naturalē works with a community of approximately 10 women on recycling and upcycling initiatives developed in collaboration with hotels, resorts, and hospitality businesses. Together, we transform materials that would otherwise become waste into useful and meaningful products.
Every ingredient is locally sourced, sustainably harvested, and traceable to a specific community and ecosystem.
Our makers are primarily women from remote coastal villages. Naturale is built on their skills, their labor, and their futures.
From upcycled hotel waste to coconut shell packaging, we design the entire product cycle to minimize what ends up in landfill.
Our products carry the character of where they come from — the forests of Sulawesi, the reefs of Raja Ampat, the creativity of Bali.
